Thank you for contacting me about estate planning.
I have a process that I like prospects to follow before actually scheduling a meeting to discuss planning. It starts first with education. I have provided this education at no cost through webinars that can be viewed “on demand” to help you get educated about estate planning and my process.
Please visit https://lawbob.com/webinars/ and select one of three available webinars. Each webinar outlines what estate planning is, why we do estate planning, and my own planning process as an estate planning attorney.
If you have minor children, I recommend “Estate Planning for Busy Parents.”
If you are unmarried, including unmarried couples or registered domestic partners, or wish to plan for your own separate property in a marriage, watch “The Living Trust Webinar for Individuals: Inheritance Planning for You and Your Family.”
If you are married and have no children or only adult children, you should view “The Living Trust Webinar: Inheritance Planning for you and Your Family.”
At the end of each webinar, I outline the various levels of planning I offer, along with a description of my fees and what is covered by those fees. Then if you decide you wish to work with me, you can use the QR code or special calendaring link provided at the end of each webinar (or back at my website at https://lawbob.com/webinars/) to schedule a free 30-minute Preliminary Planning Session to decide the level of planning. This meeting can by Zoom or in person in my office.
If you decide to go forward, I ask that you complete a brief Planning Priorities Quiz to provide me with an overview of your family and planning situation. Here is the link for that:

To provide more information, you may also download my California Consumer Guide to Wills, Living Trusts and Estate Planning here. This 40-page guide is packed with useful information that supports the webinars.
I look forward to hearing from you further.
