Dropbox Account: I have shared or will be sharing a Dropbox folder with you that contains all of the fillable PDF worksheets I ask you to complete as much as possible before scheduling your Plan Design Meeting (see below). Dropbox is an online storage site that also permits sharing folders between more than one Dropbox accountholder as if they were both essentially using the same computer. Information is stored online in an encrypted, secure form.
Anything put into a shared Dropbox folder is available right away with anyone else who has access to the same shared folder. This enables you to complete worksheets and have them shared directly with me without mailing or emailing them to me, which makes them more secure. It also enables us to share documents with each other in a safe, secure manner, including drafts of your estate planning documents when they are ready for review.

SPECIAL NOTE: If you use an Apple computer, it is recommended that you not use the “Preview” application to open and complete your PDF worksheets. This is because worksheets completed using Preview cannot be opened and viewed successfully by other PDF applications. if you do use Preview, then you should actually print the wordsheets to a PDF file before sharing them with me. Doing this will convert the text you have entered into fixed images that can then be viewed by another PDF viewer.
